"Cell C take a girl child to work" Day

Cell C has an initiative that aims to encourage and expose young girls to the real working world. The concept, originally based on the American Take your Daughter to Work Day, was aimed at allowing girls to get a glimpse of the career options available to them and to move away from the traditional "women's" jobs. The need to expose girls to the options available in the world of work is very real.

For this reason, DCLD had young ladies from Dinoto Technical School join us on 28 May 2009. The girls were very enthusiastic to listen to the ins and outs of the Aviation industry and the various trades offered at DCLD, this is how the day went...
