Denel Youth Foundation Training Program

Since 1994, Denel has run bridging programs for metric students to improve their results in Mathematics, Science and Language Literacy. This program prepares them for studying Science and Engineering degrees at tertiary institutions. About 600 students have gone through this program and many have graduated with degrees with a large number being placed in Denel.

Denel's recently established Youth Foundation Development Program in Kempton Park is a partnership program between Denel, Department of Defence and the Office of the Auditor General. Some 400 students have been selected from all over South Africa especially from the deep rural areas to stay in our hostel and attend Ekurhuleni West College to improve their results.
